Our signature pan & hand tossed pizza has incredible crust and flavor, made possible with our one-of-a-kind Roto-flex® oven. Each stone-baked pizza is crafted on dough that’s made from scratch, in-house daily. Then, topped with the finest, freshest ingredients. Our pasta, salads and sandwiches made with freshly baked bread compliment every meal.

Our History
1973
Serving our first slice
Founder Anthony “Tony” Cavolo was a WWII veteran and Brooklyn, New York native who dreamed of opening a family-friendly neighborhood pizzeria. This dream is brought to life when he opens the very first Peter Piper Pizza on November 28th, in Glendale, Arizona. From its start, Peter Piper Pizza has delivered on providing guests with high-quality food at a reasonable price.
On July 28, 2006, Tony passed away at the age of 83. He leaves behind a legacy of food, family, and fun; which we work to uphold through every pizza made.
1980
Getting our game on
Our first expansion outside of the Phoenix area takes place as we open our Tucson, Arizona location. This is also our first restaurant featuring arcade games.
1982
Taking on Texas
El Paso, Texas is Peter Piper Pizza’s first out of state venture. Now, we have more than 50 locations across the state.
1991
Hola, Mexico
Peter Piper Pizza’s first US expansion takes place as we open our Ciudad Juárez, Mexico location. Today there are more than 45 Peter Piper Pizza restaurants throughout the country.

Peter Piper Pizza 2.0
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we launch Peter Piper Pizza 2.0. – This refresh of the brand ensures that we meet the needs of current and future generations of guests in an ever-changing dining industry.

Funpass
Funpass, an even more fun, tokenless way to play is added to all Peter Piper Pizza restaurants, replacing tokens. Guests can now add game play in the form of points or minutes to their re-usable funpass card.

Peter Piper Pizza launches Rewards app and loyalty program. Guests can now earn points for their purchases, and can redeem for free pizza, game play and more.

Peter Piper Pizza Express opens in Phoenix, Arizona. This location offers the same made-to-order menu as our dine-in locations, for delivery and carryout only. There are now 3 Express locations and growing across the state.

Our first brand extension in the form of Peter Piper Pizzeria opens in Olathe, Kansas.
